Our Coffee
When planning began for The Yard coffee shop, we wanted to bring you the best beans from the farthest reaches; something special, exciting, and (of course) utterly divine in its deliciousness.
Which is where our partners, Symposium Coffee Roasters and Cal’s Coffee, come into play.
Symposium’s coffee model focuses on direct trade relationships and sourcing through carefully selected importers; we could not be more thrilled to be working with them to create our signature roast – one we know you’re going to love!
Meanwhile, Cal’s Coffee specialises in single origin coffee straight from Brazil, and is responsible for our sumptuous espresso roast. Through Cal, we’re hooked up directly to Brazilian farm Agua Santa for these beans; their name translates to ‘Holy Water’, and we think it’s just the perfect name for coffee!
Through these collaborations, we’ve established a fully transparent supply chain; one which links the farmer to the roaster, and makes sure the farmer is properly paid for their love and efforts, too.
We’re constantly working with our partners to ensure the most transparent, ethical and sustainable service possible each and every day. And you can also expect a palatable selection of guest roasts on our menu to mix up those flavours and add in as much variety as we possibly can.

It’s our goal to create a sanctuary in the heart of Norwich. A place where creative people can not only boost productivity by working in a safe and encouraging environment, but the perfect meeting spot, too.
